-----------Dates To Be Announced----------- Course Overview As a leader of a company or an organization, how do you confidently think, plan, and prepare for the future when there are so many unknowns? Through an applied project, you will learn how to employ the strategic foresight planning process – scanning for trends, developing scenarios, and utilizing scenarios for strategic thinking, planning, and decision-making. What You Will Learn? In this certificate program, you will: 1. Articulate the differences between the various stages of the strategy cycle. 2. Scan, evaluate, and articulate strategic trends and their implications on organizations. 3. Develop and deliver a future-perspective organizational strategy. 4. Utilize scenario planning to engage in strategic thinking, planning, and decision-making. Blended Format: Self-paced + Virtual + In-Person 1) Each week your instructor will lead 1.5 hours of live, virtual interaction with you and your classmates via video conference. 2) Each week you will spend 1-2 hours of self-paced learning in our learning platform (e.g., reading, watching, and reviewing materials and working on projects). 3) The program will culminate in an in-person, weekend-long, networking conference at an onsite location in HCMC, where you get to meet your instructor and classmates in person – provided international travel is allowed. Who Should Enroll? This program is designed for senior executives at companies of all sizes and stages—from current market leaders to fast-growing midsize competitors to dynamic emerging companies. MP gives admission preference to senior management teams composed of four to eight individuals. Attendance by multiple company representatives will foster teamwork and amplify the program's impact on your organization. Instructor Bio Dr. Mike Truong has 20+ years of experience providing thought leadership, strategic foresight, and scenario planning for startup and mature higher education institutions. Dr. Truong has applied his future-ready thinking in higher education, technology planning, talent development, and the future of learning. He currently serves as the VP of Academics and Innovation for Union University of California and the Digital Learning Architect for Azusa Pacific University. He regularly consults with organizations throughout the U.S. and Asia. Dr. Truong has a PhD from the University of California, San Diego.
